Hey there! My name is Garett Pierson. I grew up in Northern California, building forts in the redwoods, shivering in the Pacific Ocean and hiking beautiful mountains. My junior year of high school, I met my wife Jasmine at our church youth group and I've loved her ever since! I have a B.A. in Pastoral Care: Youth and Family Ministry from Oral Roberts University, as well as a minor in General Business. After graduating, Jasmine and I got married and honeymooned our way down the coast to Bakersfiled, CA, where we both began our church careers, she as the Children's Director and I as the Youth Director. I've worked with youth on and off since then and am elated to find myself here in Florence, SC working with HPUMC to disciple the next generation. Jasmine and I have two boys, Henry (8) and Sam (6). We love getting outside, whether in the backyard or our Lamar farmhouse, at Lee State Park, or the splash pad in downtown Florence.
