I am thrilled to be a part of Highland Park UMC as the Director of the Weekday Children's Ministry program.  Our Preschool, After-School Care, and Summer Camp programs, have been an important component of the Florence community for over 50 years and my goal is to continue this tradition.  I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Buisiness Administration and Early Childhood Education, and a minor in Sociology from Coker University.  I spent nine years as an early childhood educator with the Darlington County School District (K - 2nd grade) and developed a passion for educating our youngest learners through play and discovery.  I grew up in Michigan but my husband Kelly and I moved to South Carolina in 1990 and have never left.  We have two daughters, a great dane named Riley, and a Carolina dog named Willie.  I am looking forward following the path that God has for me and my exciting adventure with Highland Park!
